Stand-up paddle boarding is a great way to spend time on the water while on the Forgotten Coast. We will teach the basic techniques of stand-up paddle boarding on land before we enter the water. Once on the water you will have a surf coach right by you the whole time to keep you safe and help you advance your skills.

  • Gulf:  If you're feeling especially adventurous, these trips will venture past the second sand bar, where dolphins, sea turtles, and schools of large fish are often spotted   (these trips are very dependent on wind/water conditions for that day)

  • Bay:  If the Gulf is too rough, we can launch at a private location centrally located on Cape San Blas. Gliding over crystal clear waters of St. Joe Bay provide a great  opportunity to see all sorts of fish, stingrays, dolphins, and sea turtles.

  • Money Bayou:   Paddle a 25 yard wide brackish creek that is as "Old Florida" as you can get. Money Bayou starts about a mile inland and empties into the Gulf. The creek flows through grasslands and through some wooded areas. Be on the lookout for alligators and wild pigs (most of the time you will just see their tracks where they crossed)  Fun fact--In the1700s and 1800s, it is rumored that pirates visited Money Bayou, and maybe even deposited some of their loot in the bayou.  The legend is that there is a buried treasure chest always just out of reach.  When someone digs for the chest it just sinks deeper and deeper into the sand!!
